How to Verify Email Addresses in Excel

If your contacts live in Excel, you can save the file as CSV and run a fuller address-quality review in MailCull.

Excel can help you spot very basic formatting problems, but it cannot tell you whether a domain appears able to receive mail or whether an address looks disposable or suspicious.

The practical workflow

  1. Open the spreadsheet in Excel.
  2. Save the file as CSV.
  3. Upload the CSV to MailCull.
  4. Review the status results.
  5. Export the cleaner file and open it again in Excel if needed.

  • legacy client lists
  • CRM exports
  • prospect spreadsheets
